Episode 10: Katie Budinger, B.R.I.D.G.E. Program

Lowell has some terrifically talented and enthusiastic educators, and today we are fortunate to speak with Kathryn "Katie"Budinger who works with at-risk 7th and 8th grade students in Lowell's B.R.I.D.G.E. program.  Katie has a passion for science and teaching through hands-on activites. Her enthusiasm comes through during this conversation about her participation in Honeywell's Educator Space Academy Program.

This past summer, Katie traveled to Huntsville, Alabama a second time as one of four ambassadors for the program. In our conversation with Katie, she enthusiastically describes her experiences at the Educator Space Academy program and tells us about some of the ways she engages her students using her knowledge and experiences from Space Academy. Fair warning: her enthusiasm is contagious!

Today, we are delighted to highlight Katie Budinger and her experiences with Honeywell  Educator Space Academy. Be sure to check the links below for more information about the program.
